The Department of Philosophy, King’s College London has organised a workshop in honour of M.M. McCabe titled, 'Virtue, Conversation, Knowledge: Plato and Beyond', which will be held 30th-31st May, Nash Lecture Theatre (K2.31), Strand Campus, King's College London. There is an upcoming conference, organised by Daniel Ferguson and Joachim Aufderheide, on Virtue in Aristotle, to be held on Thursday 18th April and Friday 19th April, at King's College London, Strand Campus, Macadam Building MB 2.1. The conference will feature talks about virtue in various works of Aristotle from local talent (Elena Cagnoli Fiecconi, Daniel Ferguson), people elsewhere in the UK (Karen Margrethe Nielsen, Giulia Bonasio, Margaret Hampson), and people abroad (Jozef Müller, Daniel Wolt). Keeling Memorial Lecture will be given by Professor Verity Harte (Yale University) on Tuesday 12th March, 6-8pm in G46 H O Schild Lecture Theatre, Medical Sciences Building, UCL, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT. A benefit conference for Ukraine, 'What Good is Philosophy?' will be held online on the 17th-19th March, 2023, with the aim of raising the funds required to establish a Centre for Civic Engagement at Kyiv Mohyla Academy. This Centre will provide support for academic and civic institutions in Ukraine to counteract the destabilizing impact that Russia’s invasion has had on Ukrainian higher education and civilian life. By assisting Ukrainian students and scholars today, this Centre will also help pave the way for a vibrant and engaged post-war Ukraine.

NOTE the change in venue for this talk in the Aristotelian Society Proceedings, and NOTE that the time of the talk scheduled for the Institute of Classical Studies ancient philosophy seminar for the same day, by Thornton Lockwood, has been moved to 4-6pm to avoid a clash.
